In the summertime, I prefer to drink iced coffee and my mornings have improved dramatically (and my trips to Starbucks have decreased) since I perfected my at-home iced coffee preparation. This isn't a recipe and it certainly isn't creative, but it has revolutionized my coffee-drinking. First, I brew a pot of coffee. I fill an ice cube tray with the coffee and freeze the tray until I have frozen coffee cubes. Second, I chill the remaining coffee in the refrigerator. Whenever I want an iced coffee, I just combine the chilled coffee and the frozen coffee cubes with milk!
