C. Wonder

Oh, New York City.  There isn't much that I miss about life in a real city, but I do miss the shopping.  It isn't that you can't buy things here, but I miss walking from one store to the next and being able to wander all day into cute boutiques with breaks for delicious pastries and coffee.  On Saturday, I spent a wonderful afternoon in SoHo with my dear friend B.  We always carve out time for a shopping excursion when we see each other and this time I was determined to hit a few spots that were new to me in New York.  I will confess that I even created a Google Map of places to visit (embarrassing, I know).

One stop was at a store that just opened in SoHo called C. Wonder.  There online boutique is not yet up and running, but if you find yourself in SoHo (72 Spring Street @ Crosby) you should definitely check out this brightly-decorated, reasonably-priced new store.  In my opinion, it is a little bit Tory Burch, Kate Spade and J.Crew all rolled into one -- and less expensive (miraculous).  They have fun accessories, great classic pieces (I emerged with a nice black cardigan) and fun housewares.  Soon all of their products will be available online!

You can read more about C. Wonder in this month's Lonny Mag and see additional images on this Sneak Peek provided by Kevin Sharkey at Martha Stewart.  Image credits to Kevin Sharkey and C. Wonder.
