My husband and I moved to Denver, Colorado in 2010 after twelve years on the East Coast (New York and Boston) and London. I am originally from Colorado and love living at the foot of the Rocky Mountains and enjoying Colorado's 300+ days of sunshine. I grew up in a small town on the Front Range of Colorado and moved east to attend Yale University for college.
I'm a lawyer by trade (most recently in-house counsel for the world's largest manufacturer of mozzarella), but we are spending 2017 traveling so I'm currently a full-time traveler and adventurer. I'm happiest spending time with my family, running, mountain biking, skiing, swimming, baking, cooking, reading, crafting, and traveling. I love the colors pink and mint green, hoppy and/or dark beer, photography, coffee, ice cream, Brussels sprouts, stationery, exploring grocery stores in new cities (particularly abroad), Maltesers, black licorice, and fashion. We live in a Victorian house built in the West Highlands neighborhood with our daughter, Blythe, who was born in December 2014, and our cat, Forest.
And one of my middle names is Eden (and now Blythe shares that middle name with me), hence the title of the blog.
