Mint Magic

I was looking through my recent Pins on Pinterest and noticed an obvious trend... mint, mint, mint (okay, some closer to turquoise, but basically the same idea).  This is only fitting for the arrival of spring and nothing is more tempting right now than adding a pop of mint to an outfit.  I particularly love the mint/pink combination.

Green for Spring

It seems clichéd to suggest that green is everywhere this spring, but it really is!  I walked into J.Crew and was overwhelmed by the awesome options in festival green, their vibrant shade for spring 2012 (including these flats, this sweater, and this maxi skirt).  Below are a few of my favorites from J.Crew and beyond.

Pretty in Pink

Call me girly, but I have always loved the color pink.  I love how it pairs equally well with black and bright green or navy, how just a little bit goes a long way to make an outfit pop and how it tends to stand out from the crowd.  I cannot believe I've included a pair of jeggings in my "pink things I am coveting" list, but there they are... I just think they will be so cute this spring/summer!  What do you all think about pink?

Orange!

Lately I have seen the color orange everywhere, and despite the fact that tomorrow is Valentine’s Day and red would be the logical color of inspiration for February, I choose orange!   Orange makes me think of tangerines, poppies, goldfish, my favorite Tory Burch flats, New England in the fall and Princeton University (I have many friends who attended Princeton and love it more than I thought it was possible to love a university).  Below are a few of my favorite pieces, patterns and images in orange!
